cards with the same value.

success at the game.
On all Hard Hands:
If your hand is 9 or less, hit.
If your hand is 10 or 11, double down. If your total
is more than the dealer's upcard, hit.
If you have a hand total 12 - 16, always hit when
the dealer's upcard is 7 or higher. If it isn’t,
stand.
If your hand is 17 or higher, be sure to stand.
On all Soft Hands:
If your hand is 13 - 18, double down when the dealer's
upcard is 5 or 6.
If your hand is 17 or less, be sure to hit.
Should you have 18, hit only when the dealer's upcard
is 6 or less. If it is more than seven, stand.
If you have a hand worth 19 or more, stand.
On all Pairs:
When you have a pair of 8's or Aces, always split them.
Whatever you do, never split 10's, 5's, or 4's.
Be sure to always split all other pairs when dealer's
upcard is 6 or less.
